Armed men kill at least 100 in Burkina Faso border zone – security source | Reuters

At least 100 people were slain by armed men in northern Burkina Faso near the border with Niger. According to reports, the assailants seemed to target males but spare women and children. Although no organization immediately claimed credit, the attack occurred on borders where al-Qaeda-affiliated militants are conducting an insurgency.
