Anduril nets biggest DoD contract to date: Signifier or outlier for defense start-ups? | Breaking Defense

Must Read

Anduril Industries has signed a roughly $1 billion contract with Special Operations Command to operate as a systems integrator associate on SOCOM’s counter-unmanned systems activities. SOCOM will be able to acquire Anduril’s systems through regular channels as well as as a service, allowing the command to adjust the system “depending on mission profiles and guaranteeing SOCOM can swiftly react to new and emerging threat profiles,” according to the deal. In the previous year, Anduril has made significant progress in establishing itself to obtain important military contracts and expand its technological portfolio. Copious Imaging’s technology brought another layer of detection systems to Anduril’s air defense portfolio when it was purchased in September.
