In order to introduce its VR training simulator to Greenland, Loft Dynamics AG (previously VRM Switzerland), a company that produces virtual reality (VR) simulators that have been approved by significant aviation regulators, established cooperation with Air Greenland this week.
A new accomplishment in Loft Dynamics’ aim to improve access to flight training, even in the most remote locations, is the partnership. The collaboration makes VR flight training technology locally accessible for the first time in Air Greenland’s history. Air Greenland will run a Loft Dynamics Airbus H125 VR training simulator from its headquarters in Nuuk. Since gaining its FTD Level 3 Flight Simulation Training Device (FSTD) certificate in May 2022, Loft Dynamics has acquired seven VR training devices with EASA authorization.
