Air Force to review anonymous Special Tactics training allegations | Northwest Florida Daily News

Must Read

The Air Force inspector general has been ordered by AF secretary Frank Kendall III to review the allegations or irregularities within the training pipeline of the first female special tactics candidate

Special Tactics are the Air Force’s special operations ground forces whose abilities range from airfield reconnaissance, assessment, and personnel recovery to battlefield surgery.

The inspector general review comes at the request of Lt. Gen. Jim Slife, head of Air Force Special Operations Command, who has stated allegations of lowering standards lack context. He doubled down on his statements in a memorandum saying the airmen who share the sentiments of the anonymous letter are the ones who haven’t met Air Force standards.
