One percent of the military’s most elite forces, the United States Air Force Special Warfare unit is made up of elite operators who go through intense physical and mental training.
The United States Air Force has a Special Warfare unit with four job specialties: Combat Control, Pararescue, Tactical Air Control Party, and Special Reconnaissance. These elite units are embedded with other Special Operators from different branches of the military and trained in their techniques. The Air Force Special Warfare training program takes 730 days to complete, and the training is both physically and mentally demanding. Those who make it through the rigorous training become part of the 1% of the most elite units in the military. The Air Force Special Warfare Operators have a motto of “Ready today, relevant tomorrow, resilient always.”
