Air Force Creates Special Warfare Program for Cadets to Help Fill Empty Spots | Military.com

To help fill open positions, the Air Force develops a special warfare program for cadets. In response to its ongoing recruiting crisis, the Air Force has developed a new program to aid in the recruitment and training of college-aged ROTC and Air Force Academy cadets for special warfare positions, which the service has been struggling to fill. According to a news release from Air Force Special Warfare, “Historically, neither the Air Force Academy nor AFROTC filled all of their commissioning slots for Special Warfare, which in the long run affects mission readiness.
