Pete Brownell, the owner of 2nd Adventure Group Holding Company, which comprises firearms companies Brownells, Crow Shooting Supply, and AR15.com, is returning as CEO.
Brownell will be the company’s chairman of the board as well as its CEO. From 2012 through 2018, the third-generation Brownell served as CEO of Brownells and Crow Shooting Supply. In 2018, he was named co-chairman alongside his father, Frank. Brownell previously served as president of the National Rifle Association (NRA) and as chairman of the National Association of Sporting Goods Wholesalers (NASGW). He is a United States Trustee. Army Command and General Staff College Foundation, as well as the boards of directors of Boone & Crocket and Special Operations Wounded Warriors (SOWW).
