Veteran reflects on joining UDT/SEALs where one life depended on the other | KXAN

Seventy-seven year old Eddie Ferguson is a former Navy UDT but a lifelong adventure seeker. His son Andre who makes films says his Dad has earned a chance to relax. He enlisted back in the 1950s and aboard the USS Okinawa he met a recruiter from the Underwater Demolition Team and newly organized SEAL team. He joined UDT after BUDS would retire from the Navy at E-7 in 1982.  He would spend another 20 years in civil service before retiring. His is son is currently working on a documentary centered around his dad.
