Rifleman Review: Springfield Armory M1A Loaded | The American Rifleman

Must Read

Springfield Armory based in Geneseo, Illinois offers a “loaded” version of its steadfast M1A chambered to shoot 6.5mm Creedmoor rounds rather than the usual 7.62x51mm NATO it fires. The M1A is a popular gas-operated, semi-automatic rifle platform, a majority of the components remain on the loaded version but can be equipped with an adjustable Archangel stock, a vertical pistol grip, quick-detachable sling mount holes, a Picatinny rail segment on the bottom of the fore-end and finger grooves molded into the sides of the for-end.
