Retired Special Forces soldier, Jeremy Brown, was arrested last week for his involvement in the Capital riot that took place on Jan 6th. According to the Justice Department he was charged last Wednesday with knowingly entering a restricted building or grounds without lawful authority and knowingly disrupting the orderly conduct of government business or official functions. Brown is one of more than two dozen active or former service members charged in connection with the day’s events. He joined the Army in 1992 and retired as a master sergeant in 2012, he briefly ran for a Florida Congressional seat in 2020 before dropping out. In the service he served as an infantryman, a Special Forces communication sergeant and Special Forces senior sergeant during his 4 combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan.
