Final resting place: Ryan Knauss will rest in nation’s most hallowed cemetery | WBIR

Some of our country’s greatest heroes have been interred at Arlington National Cemetery. Staff Sgt. Ryan Knauss’ final resting place will also be this sacred ground. Just over the Potomac from DC, since the Civil War, more than 400 Medal of Honor awardees, dozens of military generals, several scientists, and 14 US Supreme Court justices and two presidents are all buried here. Ryan Knauss was killed in the August 26th suicide bombing that targeted the Kabul airport.
