At least four Afghan counter-terrorism personnel have been hunted and executed by members of the Taliban, according to a piece in The Sunday Times. According to the publication, the individuals were members of two units within the National Directorate of Security (NDS), all had been trained by British and US military. A senior official at the NDS told The Sunday Times that the Taliban took possession of laptops and paperwork from the headquarters after taking Kabul. The Taliban have even impersonated British embassy officials in their hunt for defectors. The Taliban is accused of gruesome murders of women and men in front of their families.
