As a result, they’re all departing at the same time. In fact, according to Gallup’s recent data, 48% of America’s working population is actively looking for work or keeping an eye out for openings. There isn’t a single industry, geographic area, or firm size that isn’t affected. Employees in what we call “non-thriving” corporate cultures are 81 percent more likely to experience burnout, according to our 2021 Global Culture Report. It’s an employee’s market right now, and executives are worried about how to keep them and meet their cultural demands.
