NSW Wraps Up SOF Phase of MALABAR with Partner Nations | Commander, U.S. 7th Fleet

U.S. Naval Special Warfare (NSW), Indian Navy Marine Commandos, and Japan Maritime Self Defense Force recently completed the SOF phase of MALABAR 21 in Santa Rita, Guam. MALABAR is a multilateral maritime training exercise that Australia, India, and Japan take part in with the US. The two-week SOF phase of MALABAR focused on complex maritime tactics and maneuvers. Fast-roping, combat dive operations, maritime strike warfare, explosive ordinance disposal, and the boarding, searching and seizing of another vessel was all covered.
