However, after President Biden announced his withdrawal decision, General Sir Nick Carter, the highest-ranking member of Britain’s Armed Forces, expressed his discontent during an interview with BBC. A lack of communication to Britain about the withdrawal plan and earlier instances was chief among complaints.
