Citadel Defense has been granted $4 million in new government projects, as the necessity for combat-proven anti-drone technologies continues. Small, low-cost drones are rapidly proliferating, posing a threat to soldiers and necessary facilities and jeopardizing the military’s ability to conduct positive outcomes. Terrorist groups have used autonomous devices to gather intelligence, circumvent physical barriers on the ground, and carry out highly effective strikes. An unnamed government customer has chosen citadel’s Titan as the premier radio frequency sensor for independent and highly integrated layered defense systems. Pre-deployment training, mobile security, and fixed site protection will all be done with Titan systems.
