AeroVironment, Inc., a global pioneer in intelligent, multi-domain robotic systems, recently announced that the US Special Operations Command granted them a comprehensive task order for ISR services employing JUMP 20 medium unmanned aircraft systems at an unannounced client site on May 21, 2021. As part of the existing Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity MEUAS IV deal, the ISR services include the first SATCOM-enabled unmanned aircraft system for beyond line of sight operations. For ISR solutions, the work order provides a 12-month performance period and numerous follow-on option years.
