By regularly engaging with Arctic indigenous peoples and special reconnaissance, US Army Special Forces will effectively contend with near-peer opponents in the polar areas. In addition, constant and continuous interaction with Arctic indigenous peoples will help Special Forces improve their abilities. In turn, these local partners can profit from the talents passed down via close collaboration. Similarly, a concentration on long-term special reconnaissance missions will strengthen American and allied sovereignty while also boosting knowledge of Arctic ecosystems.
