Coast Guard rescues 3 people, 2 dogs in inflatable pink flamingo raft off Alaska coast | Fox News

After heavy winds drove their raft offshore, the US Coast Guard in Alaska retrieved three people and two dogs drifting on an inflatable pink flamingo. The recovery took place near Kodiak, in Monashka Bay, which opens up into the Gulf of Alaska, according to a Facebook post by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Alaska. The USCG and Alaska State Troopers concluded that a helicopter was required to transport the trio and two puppies to safety due to the dangerous situation. They were transported to shore by an MH-60 Jayhawk.
