Army specialist reunites with military dog | Army Times

While stationed in South Korea, Army Specialist Michael Steponovich and his military dog “Popeye” were bonded. Steponovich’s canine friend was left behind after retiring from the military in January 2021 and moving to the United States. When Steponovich learned that Popeye was suffering from separation anxiety, he was excited to reconnect with the dog he had spent so much time with. He jumped at the chance to meet Popeye again after discovering that he could foster him with the support of American Humane.
