Marine security guards in Vietnam save young boy from drowning | Marine Corps Times

In early January, two Marine security guards were assigned at the US Embassy in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, Marine Sgt. Carey De Freitas and Sgt. Justin Searcy was off-duty visiting the nation when terror in the water prompted them to act. A 10-year-old kid went missing after a close boat sank, and a local man pulled the boy out of the water after ten minutes. De Freitas responded by doing CPR, and after 10 minutes, he was able to obtain a faint pulse.  “I needed to make sure this kid survived,” he stated.
