VA gets another massive funding increase in Biden’s first budget | Military.com

The White House has sought over $270 billion in funding for the Department of Veterans Affairs in fiscal 2022, a 10% increase over fiscal 2021, to finance initiatives such as caregiver services, suicide prevention, and GI Bill improvements. The VA would get $113.1 billion in consumption spending in fiscal 2022, an increase of 8.2 percent over fiscal 2021, excluding medical care collections. After Defense and Health and Human Services, this is the third highest cash amount among Cabinet departments.
