Pentagon considering telling troops to report suspected ‘Havana Syndrome’ incidents | CNN

Must Read

The Pentagon is preparing a memo for the whole military and civilian personnel, urging them to disclose any “abnormal health symptoms” that could indicate they’ve been infected with a strange virus that has afflicted US ambassadors, agents, and soldiers around the globe. There hasn’t been a final decision on whether or not to issue the memo though. Nonetheless, the fact that it’s being explored highlights the Pentagon’s serious concern that more data on what’s become known as “Havana Syndrome” is needed. Federal officials have battled to figure out what is driving the odd symptoms since the episodes began in late 2016 in Cuba.
