Lt. Col. Matthew Lohmeier, commander of the 11th Space Warning Squadron at Buckley Air Force Base in Colorado, was dismissed from his duties by Lt. Gen. Stephen Whiting last Friday due to a lack of faith in his leadership abilities. The decision was made after his remarks on a podcast promoting his latest book, which argues that Marxist philosophies are becoming more prominent in the US military. Lohmeier, a former teacher and fighter pilot who joined the Space Force, self-published “Irresistible Revolution: Marxism’s Goal of Conquest & the Unmaking of the American Military” earlier this month.
