Mark Green, the Special Forces doctor who interrogated Saddam Hussein, is now serving the country by being a member of Congress. Green was commissioned as an Infantry Officer after graduating from West Point in 1986. He was admitted into the Army’s medical school and graduated with his MD in 1999. He joined the Night Stalker, who worked in Iraq and Afghanistan during the War on Terror, because of his military and medical experience. Green left the Army as a Major in 2006 and found and ran Align MD, a hospital emergency department staffing company. He entered politics in 2012 when he was elected to the Tennessee State Senate and became a congressman in 2019.
