Why aren’t military generals being held accountable for preventable training deaths? | Marine Corps Times

Training deaths have happened throughout the years. These accidents could have been prevented if only everyone is ready for such events. What is surprising is that of all the training deaths, military generals were never held accountable for preventable training deaths. But why? According to Rep. John Garamendi, D-California, the key House Armed Services subcommittee chairman on readiness, the system of accountability and responsibility of our senior military is badly broken and should be fixed as soon as possible in order to prevent more deaths from happening.
