Launch of the military’s experimental navigation satellite pushed back to 2023 | C4ISRNET

Must Read

The US military was set to launch its new experimental navigation satellite in 2022, but due to a rideshare delay, the launch will be happening in 2023 instead. The new experimental navigation satellite is known as the Navigation Technology Satellite 3, designed to help guide future GPS satellites. According to the Air Force Research Laboratory, the delay is a blessing in disguise as they can have more time to reduce risks and conduct more ground testing.
