Jihadism has mushroomed into a worldwide movement and has affected many countries in the world, specifically those in Southeast Asia and West Africa. One of the most affected counties is Afghanistan. Over the years, the Afghans continue to fight a global jihadist threat. They have tried to out rule the enemies, including al-Qaeda, the Taliban, and ISIS, but their efforts weren’t enough for these terrorist groups to stop. As the Americans are set to withdraw all of their forces come September 11, Afghanistan will be left with nothing but American support from afar. In this case, the Afghanistan military could crash down when not properly handled.
