From clearing floors to eliminating enemies, the new training program for the Army’s special operations bomb techs has become more intense than ever. The new training program, which lasts for two weeks, was designed to better prepare Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) soldiers for the unique hazards of such deployments. Through this program, lessons learned in combat are directly taught to soldiers preparing to deploy. The new program focuses heavily on combat scenarios they are likely to face while on SOF missions.
