Must Read

In a dedication held last Monday, Fort Hood has unveiled that one of its 27 gates will be renamed after Spc. Vanessa Guillen who was killed by a fellow soldier while serving with Fort Hood’s 3rd Cavalry Regiment. Her body was found near a river off base after almost a month of searching. According to Lupe Guillen, Vanessa’s sister, may the gate serve as a reminder to soldiers passing through to look out for one another.
