75th Ranger Regiment lieutenants earn Best Ranger title, credit ‘focused’ training | Stars & Stripes

As the three-day Best Ranger competition has come to an end, two Army lieutenants from the 75th Ranger Regiment earned the Best Ranger title. Both Army 1st. Lt. Vince Paikowski and 1st Lt. Alastair Keys are former collegiate athletes from Wisconsin who commissioned into the Army in 2017. According to them, their months of training and personal perseverance with overcoming a single bad event have earned them the victory at Fort Benning, Ga. “There’s a lot of pride in being able to bring back the title Best Ranger to this organization,” Paikowski stated.
