Afghan Special Forces break a Taliban jail in a night raid, 20 captives freed | Khaama Press

In a night operation, the Afghan Special Forces stormed a Taliban prison in the Western Nimroz province, where they were able to free at least 20 members of the ANDSF. Aside from that, seven Taliban members were killed as well, including Mawali Bashir, one of their key commanders. 215 Corps commander Genera Sami Sadat led the operation, a well-known military leader whose focus is to destroy terrorism in the country and often takes on difficult missions. This is the first night raid by the Afghanistan National Security Defense Forces after US President Joe Biden announced the complete withdrawal of the 2,500 remaining US troops.
