In special warfare milestone, female enlisted airman to enter combat controller training | Military.com

The US Air Force has reached another milestone as the first female enlisted airman soon will enter training to become a combat controller. According to Air Education and Training Command spokeswoman Marilyn Holliday, one of the two enlisted women in the special warfare training pipeline now will become the first woman in its elite special warfare ranks. The unidentified airman has just completed the assessment and selection course and will soon start her formal combat controller training.
