For the first time in history, the U.S. Space Force has officially welcomed the first female Native American intelligence officer in the person of Capt. Haida StarEagle. StarEagle is a 17-year-veteran of the Air Force. She served as a flight commander of training for the 36th Intelligence Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia, which she will be staying at until her new duty title and station are approved. The Space Force is looking forward to tripling in size by the end of 2021 to 6,400 members.
