More than 70 people have been arrested by the U.S.-backed forces in northeastern Syria as a part of the ongoing crackdown on the al-Hol displaced-persons camp. The camp has been around for a few months and has served as a home for the Islamic State terror group. The crackdown was launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces last Sunday with over 5,000 troops and internal security force personnel involved. Ammunition and other materials were confiscated during ongoing raids.
