Since January 2013, two-time Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and National Geographic Fellow Paul Salopek have been walking around the world in his global, multi-year Out of Eden Walk. Salopek started his 38,000km journey in Africa along the ancient path of human migration. So far, he has traveled 12,000km and is currently stuck in Myanmar due to travel restrictions. Salopek aims to have a deeper and wider understanding of the landscapes and lives of the people he encounters on his travels.
