Becoming a Navy SEAL requires proving that you are worthy and have both the mental and physical capabilities to join. To prove your worth, you must go through a series of training, specifically the BUD/S—Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL Training. You have to complete this training before you are able to call yourself a SEAL. The training doesn’t end there however, as you still have to complete SEAL Qualification Training and continue to prove your worth.
