Every four years, the Pentagon comes out with new strategies in place of already-outdated guidance and concepts. But with all the demands it has to serve, this is no longer enough and what is needed is a better way to manage complex processes. One of the better ways to do so is through agile development. Agile development is a concept from the software industry, which focuses on delivering what users need. After all, clinging to familiar, outdated processes is not helpful, and jumping in a better and more agile model is truly needed.
