Special Operations team in Pacific will confront Chinese information campaigns | C4ISRNET

Specially created by the U.S. Special Operations Command, the Joint Task Force Indo-Pacific team is set to work with allies to thwart China’s information operations. The task force will be focusing on information and influence operations in the Pacific region, where China’s growing capabilities continue to flourish. The team is set to collaborate with top individuals in the region in order to crack down on misinformation and prevent information warfare.
