First entered the U.S. Army’s lexicon in 2010, the word Operational Design has become one of the most important terms in the military today. In fact, the real meaning of the word has never been defined so accurately. Today, irregular warfare is no longer only a special operation idea but a joint responsibility, and it has been institutionalized already. This means that the operation design has been irregularly upgraded to aid the US in indirectly competing while advancing its interest without the need for a catastrophic military confrontation.
