The U.S. Navy is currently looking for Zumwalt class stealth destroyers with hypersonic missiles. Specifically, these missiles should be loaded into an Advanced Payload Module that has “a three-pack configuration.” Other requirements include integrating the Navy’s Intermediate-Range Conventional Prompt Strike (IRCPS) weapon. To qualify, contractors should submit proposals for how they would support expanding production of IRCPS components. Alongside the proposal are other common related items between those weapons and the U.S. Army’s Long-Range Hypersonic Weapon (LRHW).
