For the first time in history, Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group together with Naval Special Warfare, have conducted a composite unit training exercise meant to show that the ship of a strike group can work smoothly as a force. About 100 SEALs and Special Warfare Combatant-Craft Crewmen (SWCC) from SEAL Team 10 and Special Boat Team 20 have joined the training. Conventional Navy forces were also part of the training that happened in February.
