According to reports, the Air Force has offered its pilots a $420,000 bonus to stay with the troops. But the bonus won’t be given all at once. Instead, this will be based on overtime or lump sums and varies from one aircraft to another. Air Force pilots can also receive a lump-sum payment of $100,000 for 5 to 7 years and $200,000 for 8 to 12 year contracts.
