The f-word is one of the most common words that we tend to utter whenever we feel sad, angry, or something unexpected comes up. Most of us use this word often, and surprisingly, the word is an old one. It dates back to the 16th century after “A Worlde of Wordes” by English lexicographer John Florio was published. The “A Worlde of Wordes” is an Italian-English dictionary intended to teach people these languages as they were really “f*cking” spoken. The f-word became even more popular when service members in World War II used the world as a part of their daily vocabulary.
