To prevent terrorism from spreading and stop violent extremists in their country, Mozambique’s counterterrorism forces are set to train under U.S. special operations troops. The country has been facing violence committed by Islamic State militants, and this training will focus on defeating these terror cells. The training will last for two months and will be largely concentrating on the Mozambican Marines.
