On March 8, the SEALs, Marines, and Norwegian soldiers were able to practice dropping bombs on new terrain with the US Air Force B-1B Lancer bombers’ help. The training was known as the Joint Terminal Attack Controller training and was held near Setermoen in the Norwegian Arctic. JTAC has allowed the soldiers to conduct close-air-support missions. The training happened despite the increasing focus of the NATO military on the European Arctic, with more ground, air, and naval operations.
