In the mission of making it possible for all veterans and their caregivers to receive the COVID-19 vaccine wherever they are, the House lawmakers have approved new legislation known as the VA VACCINE Act. But supply problems remain the biggest challenge on how they can turn this law into a reality. Before the bill was approved, only veterans who are eligible for VA health care and certain caregivers enrolled in the official VA assistance program can get the shots.
