Over the years, discoveries were excavated in Pompeii that has changed history. The city’s latest discovery are bodies of victims of the Vesuvius eruption, including a man and his slave and three horses. They have uncovered new villas as well but what is really interesting is that the recent excavations aren’t exactly meant to look for more things but are happening because the site is in danger. And while Pompeii is known to many as a dead city, the place is actually still alive whose image changes and will continue to change because its story hasn’t all been written.
