Austrian-designed twin-engine Diamond DA42 light aircraft visits the newly expanded Khmeimim Air Base in Syria, where the main hub of Russian military aviation activity in the country is. The Diamond DA42 Light Aircraft is known not just because of being a private aircraft and trainer but also as surveillance aircraft. In addition, the aircraft is powered by Austro Engine’s AE300-E4 diesel engines, which is also used on standard jet fuel. It also has a Garmin glass cockpit with twin LCD screens and an autopilot feature lasting for up to 12 hours.
