As the Pope’s arrival to Iraq was getting closer each day, Special Forces have been deployed in Baghdad and Dhi Qar to ensure the Pope’s safety and security. The Pope is expected to stay in the country until March 8. He is set to visit the ancient city of Ur, the Sumerian state’s capital, and the Prophet Abraham’s birthplace.
